This picture shows the next stage of the all steel Komatsu 575A Super Dozer Model on my workbench. This picture shows many of the shapes of the machine all sitting together. You can see the rear weight box to the right bottom of the picture. There are a lot of things left to do yet, but this shows the overall shape of how it is going to look. ENGINE PROGRESS- I got the engine block and the left side of the engine almost done. I still have several hours left to work on the engine but could get it done tonight. I am very happy how it is looking . You can also see some of the rough welded areas that have not been smoothed out and filled yet. Just putting the blade on it gives it a completly rugged, heavy duty look. Tomorrows pictures it will have the weight box on the back and the blade mounted on it.
THREE INCHES OF RAIN OVERNIGHT- It was just Mon. I was out plowing 4 inches of snow and today we got 3 inches of rain. I can see grass in the backyard for the first time , oh yea!!!
THIRTY -SIX OFFROAD TIRES – I talked to the fellow this morning about the 36 offroad tires and rims , He said it looks like we are getting closer to getting them. It has been since last Aug. at the Indy Toy Show he has been trying to get them. So I am glad there is still hope for me to get them. I should know more next week. CORVETTE – When we return from Washington D.C. I will get the Corvette out of storage and start driving it. The city is going to put a new road in front of our house this summer. So it will be dug up all summer. So if I get it out early I can drive it a little before it gets all dug up.
