Mack Truck Museum- Two days ago I posted a picture of a green and yellow Mack Truck from the 70’s just showing the cab style of my current 1/4 scale model project. Today I got a e-mail from Ross in New Zealand. He told me that truck is inside a museum with 200 other trucks . He said it is in Invercargil, New Zealand in the Richardson Truck Museum. That is pretty cool. Thanks Ross for the info.
Deer Hunting Update- ELEVEN deer now shot and processed and the freezer is getting full. Actually two freezers are full and anymore will be donated to a food bank . Northern Va. has a real car/deer accident problem so noone is complaining these 11 deer won’t be wrecking anyones cars, ha,ha. The best thing is they eat venison a lot !! They even have a few venison parties each year so that is even fun for them.
Mack Truck Parts- This morning I attached the fifth wheel hitch to the frame and built the rear mudflap bracket and now I’m working on the exhaust stack and protective screen that goes over it. After that I will start the design for the cab side mounted air cleaner . Now I am starting to see what I been wanting to see how it is looking. I’m still holding off on the roof , windshield and rear window section. The front hood is not hinged yet, it’s just sitting on the frame rails and has to be worked on yet.
SNOW in the forecast – The weatherman is saying 100% chance of snow for us on the ground tomorrow morning when we wake up.
Have a great Wed.
