Algoma Steel going through the Soo Locks as Don Campbell watches float past him.

Cold Rolled Steel- Todays picture is one from our visit to the Soo Locks this summer. I’m always amazed to see a semi truck on the freeway hauling just one of these rolls of steel because it makes me think of seeing how many rolls of steel can be moved at one time on a freighter. Speaking of steel, it’s getting close to me heading to Gaylord Steel and Fabrication to get 6 more 10 x 4 sheets of steel to keep me stocked up for the winter. I use between 12 to 15 sheets od steel each year.
GAYLORD SNOWPLOWS – This morning the Gaylord City Snowplows were busy plowing the city streets with under three inches of snow that fell overnight. I don’t plow my customers the first time until we get 4 inches. It sounds like that may happen later this week.
RUNNING – Today Deb and I had to run inside on the treadmill . We knew the day was coming and we are ok with it. Running inside our outside is still a great way to start the day .
COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS- It’s Dec. first and the countdown has begun to Nicole and Bill coming home for Christmas. Deb and I get very excited now knowing the shopping is done and the tree is up and trimmed and the presents are all under the tree and the chestnuts are roasting on the fire. A fresh cup of hot chocolate and making popcorn balls and Christmas Cookies. HELLO !! Duh !! If you think it is a little early to get all hyped up and too early to make Christmas Cookies and popcorn balls?? This is just a trial run for the real thing in three weeks, ha,ha. Of course we will have to make fresh goodies again and eat these , ha,ha.
HITACHI EX-8000- Today I worked on the bucket and got the side wear plates built and inj place and tonight I got going on the bucket teeth parts. By tomorrow night I should get the teeth roughed in.
Have a nice Tues. !!!!!!!!!
