Alpenfest 2010 – Well today is the day many Gaylord residents jump in their cars and Leave Otsego Co. for the week because they feel Alpenfest is more like Alpenstress , ha,ha.
I must admit we also left town a few years and went camping to other locations. But the last few years we actually really got to enjoy the evening entertainment on the Aplentfest stage. Todays picture shows Nicole and I walking to town with Deb and Bill on our morning exercise program. You can see in the background the first Alpenfest rides are being set up. You can see Nicole is starting to look a little pregnant. (:>).
It’s getting close now to the big Alpenfest 2010 5K race I have been preparing for and would you believe I ran the 5K course this morning again and really pushed it and the last two blocks my back wentt out on me. I wasn’t about to quit or slow down so I pushed it harder the last two blocks (:>). On Sat. even if I have to crawl the last two blocks I am not stopping , ha,ha. I got about 20 people going to be cheering for me taking pictures and movies . Talk about extra added pressure LOL
Going to be a great week with Nicole and Bill home.
P&H 5700 Mining Excavator Painting Day- I got all the parts sanded and primed and started painting the first parts today , yippee !! Tomorrow I will get busy again with the paint gun. I also did all the plans for the decals .
