Alpenfest Run 2010 for Gaylord Resident Don and Debbie Campbell.

Alpenfest 2010 – Todays picture shows Deb and I in our backyard this morning after our morning run. Today I timed my run for the first time since I raced in my very first 5K race in Arlington, Va. last fall.
Last fall I ran a 28.35 5K and was very pleased with that time . I am actually 10 lbs heavier right now and today i ran it in 28 minutes so I was very pleased considering I am hauling extra baggage, ha,ha.
Hopefully by race day at the Alpenfest I will have shed those 10 lbs and hopefully beat todays time. Deb ran a great run this morning but she is not going to enter the Alpenfest 5K . She actually overdid it in Arlington in the race and hurt her knee. Now she has slowly progressed back to running for fun and that is still great.
At a time when close to 50% of Americans are struggling with their weight including us , we just got to get a handle on our weight . Even if it doesn’t mean we will live any longer, it will certainly make each day more enjoyable feeling good.
P&H 5700 – Yesterday I got the rest of the cables attached and today I am working on the dozen or so large spot lights . Later today and tomorrow I will work on the cab interior.
Tomorrow evening I will be posting the picture I know some of you will enjoy as the model will be looking mighty fine. Although I still have a few more weeks of work left, this is really exciting for me to see it at this stage standing in all it’s massiveness, ha,ha.
Have a great Friday !!
