Berliet 700 French Built Truck , Today’s Model Progress in Don Campbell’s workshop.

Truck Model- Here is the next progress picture of the French Berliet Oilfield Truck. You can see I am shaping the front radiator , the fender edges and duel air cleaner stacks. You can also see the engine hood, engine scoop and exhaust stacks have been roughed in. The front bumper is partically built. Now I am working on the rear rack that protects the rear winch and supports overhead storage and the over head air conditioner.
SIXTY-SEVEN DAYS COUNTING CALORIES- I’m sitting here eating a half a tuna fish sandwich , and a handfull of raw carrots and celery. And a tall glass of fresh squeezed lemon water. I really think this summer we will not be overeating as much after realizing how fast 2000 calories adds up. We have not lost much weight , but we feel we have really gained a lot counting calories. We have cut our daily calories in half or even more than half. So that is great .
NO SNOWDAY AFTER BLIZZARD- It snowed so hard yesterday and the wind blew so much they shut down I-75 Freeway . But the 50 mph winds must have blown all the snow to the next county, ha,ha. The driveways were not even bad enough to go plow them.
AMERICAN IDOL- Deb and I always watch American Idol and really like it. Two people were getting voted off last night , I was hoping Simon would get voted off and Deb was hoping Paula would get voted off, LOL Both of them tend to get on our nerves sometimes, ha,ha. For the most part, we really like the show.
Besides , Deb says I am her American Idol (:>).
2009 Gaylord Snowmobile Season – We had the best snow all winter for a very successful snowmobile season in Otsego County.
The trails still look very good for riding .
CORVETTE SEASON- I am starting to get excited about getting the Corvette on the road, but we got a LOT of snow to melt before that happens. Out of the 37 years we have been married , we have had a Corvette 35 of those years. This is our 6th Corvette and we have enjoyed this one the most.
NICOLE AND BILL HAVE GUESTS THIS WEEK- Bill’s older brother Mike is in D.C. for several days and enjoying the sights with Nicole and Bill. Mike was a V.P. for a computer parts company and traveled all over the world for many years. He loves golf and has golfed at some of the nicest golf courses around the world.
Have a GREAT THURS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be sure to enjoy today , because tomorrow will probably be worse , LOL
