Berliet DumpTruck Model Project

Berliet DumpTruck Model Project

Here is a picture of the Berliet Dump Truck built in France that I am going to build a model of. Mike Deger from Nebraska asked me to build the Western 80 dump truck last year and at the National Truck and Construction Toy Show in Indy last Aug. he talked to me about his next truck projects. And this one is one of three projects he wants me to build him in the future. I like the look of all three of his newest orders. They too will all be like most of my models and be one of a kind models so they are even more special . The book I got this picture from is all in French language. But I can see the shape in about 6 pictures and two line drawings should be plenty of info to build this rugged looking old ten wheeled dumptruck. I get quite a few visitors from France so this will be fun for them to see me build a French Berliet T-100 Heavy Duty Dump Truck.
Another French built truck that Mike wants me to build is the 1960 Berliet T-100 ” Tulsa ” Le ventredu monstre.
PLOWED SNOW SAT. MORNING- I was up early this morning with a couple more inches of fresh snow in the Alpine Village. With the 2 inches we got yesterday , I got the tractor out and did my business for the 5th time in about a week. So I got a good start for the snowplow check for Feb.
ROOF SHOVELING – I didn’t get much time in the shop yesterday as I spent much of the afternoon shoveling the rest of the house roof and the shed roof and the top of the hottub. There was over 24″ of snow to shovel off everything. And once it hits the ground it is hard as a rock. So I spent a while cleaning up the snow after it hit the ground.
Deb and I are going to just goof off arounf Gaylord today as the roads are pretty icy with this continued cold spell.
Have a nice Sat.
