Bolens Iseki diesel 4 wheel drive for sale – $1,300.00
I decided to try to sell my little Bolens diesel tractor . The fellow i bought it from told me the engine turned over fine and it just quit one day and then set outside for over 2 years.
After having it a couple weeks I decided to pull the valve cover off and I saw a broken rocker arm. I was excited thinking that would have stopped the engine from running and that was the problem. Then I tried turning the engine from the front pto and it would NOT turn all the way around.
Then I was worried. After removing the head I saw a crack in the number one cylinder . Now the engine needs bored out and a sleeve inserted in it. Too big of a job for me but someone who knows how to rebuild small diesel engines would not be a big deal. If I can’t sell it for $1,300.00 then I will remove the tires and rims and try selling it for $800.00 for parts. I will use the tires and rims for another of my projects. The tractor shows 900 hours on it.
