Bolens Iseki Parts for sale

Garden tractor project – Today I decided to pull the last tractor project that has been parked in the back shed into the workshop.
I started the pattern designs for the rear wheel adaptors. Tomorrow I should get them cut and welded and the rear wheels mounted. This is another of my 100 dollar tractors that runs excellent , had a new battery and has hydrostatic drive.
This is my last garden tractor project.
It has been a life long dream to but some cheap old garden tractors just to play with them . It was 10 months ago i bought my very first one and i built the jd 4020 , restored the jd 110 round fender, built teraks hot rod tractor and built the jd 730 narrow front tractor. Now this last one will be it . I bought the Bolens iseki 4×4 tractor but that was a big mistake. With a bad engine and parts so so expensive it makes no sense to put a single penny into it. My best bet is to dismantle it and try to sell the parts cheaper than anyone else and still make a few bucks going that route. The dealer wants $60.00 for a cap for the fuel tank !!! Just the CAP !!!
When I heard that I knew it was my worst buy of my life. But I pulled the tires and rims off it today to use on this project and it did have a front hydraulic blade i can use . I know the axles have to be worth several hundred dollars each and many of the engine parts are hard to find and they are worth a few hundred bucks. So it will be fun to tear it all apart and see how it looks inside .
Toy Building – It has been 6 months now since I cut out a part for a toy and i am starting to have thoughts about building a couple more. I love off road articulating dump trucks . I like new ones and old ones and i have plenty of the large heavy duty looking tires and rims to use up. So that could be my next truck projects.
Draglines and shovels from the old days are also in my thoughts as i have a few feet of attachment chain left over for the track assemblies. So I probably have enough for two of those and that would use up my last track chains.
With this tough economy it will be hard to sell them but if they don’t sell it won’t hurt my feelings to see them sitting on my shelf , ha,ha.
Have a great Tues.
