CAB VIEW ON RIGHT SIDE OF KOMATSU 575A SUPERDOZER FROM THE OPERATORS SEAT.

Here are two pictures that Larry sent me showing what it looked like when he was sitting in the seat of the SuperDozer. I have never built a model yet with the cab sitting so off the center of the machine. These pictures will be helpful in the next step as I do the design for the radiator and the engine hood.
SUPER DOZER MODEL PROGRESS- I got the ROPS all welded together and the brackets for bolting it to the fenders done. Now with the rear of the machine at a rough stage, This afternoon I will start the radiator housing and grille and radiator . I should get them done by tonight. Tomorrow I can work on the engine hood , the three top air cleaners, the big exhaust pipe . It’s only then that it will start looking like something.
POSTING MORE PROGRESS PICTURES- I often get asked to show more pictures every couple days showing each step in building the models. I think it would be fun to show the whole process, but to me , it does not look good with all the welds and burn marks on all the parts . I don’t like seeing part of the model with so many things missing. I know how it will look when it is completed, but many people don’t . To me it is like a unfinished painting, and it is more fun to wait until it gets roughed in .
GAYLORD SNOWSTORM TONIGHT- The weatherman is say we are going to get 3 inches of snow tonight. I’m not sure if I will plow it or not , depends on what the temps get tomorrow afternoon.
CHOPPED MORE ICE – I spent a little time yesterday in the afternoon chopping ice and now the back walkway out to my workshop is dry.
KOMATSU DEALER , ORDERED PAINT- Deb and I stopped at the A.I.S . Dealership in Traverse City last Sat. and I ordered a gallon of Komatsu Yellow and some Komatsu Grey paint. We will pick it up this Sat. I got extra yellow as I want to build the Komatsu WA-1200 loader too. The picture below this one shows the left view from the drivers seat of the superdozer.
Have a nice Wed.
