1/4 scale motorized Combine – I always enjoy seeing peoples unique projects and often share them on my page. This picture of a very nice looking 1/4 scale combine a friend from N.Y. sent me is very cool .
First Snow in Gaylord -This morning we got our first two inches of snow on the ground. Would you believe the city snowplows went by plowing the roads. The sirens were going like crazy as all those fast drivers found out the hard way to slow down. Everyone drives so fast these days , if the cops would start writing tickets again they could make big bucks for their state and county. People no longer fear the cops . They are actually crashing into them more and more. Two in our area last month alone. I think the cops must have given up as it is very rare to see anyone even being stopped. Our street speed limit is 25 mph and i often see people doing 40 and sometimes fifty as they push the pedal in passing gear and hold it down.
I’m old and evidently it’s not that big a deal anymore, ha,ha.
Mack Truck R Series Parts- Today I got the air cleaner built and mounted to the side of the cab and I got the right side mirror built. The right side of the truck is starting to take shape. Won’t be long and I’ll post the first progress picture. I want to get the roof figured out first.
