Cat 797F Dump box bracing being fitted and welded in place by upnorth toy builder Don Campbell.

Cat 797F Dump Box bracing- Todays picture shows the progress on the underside of the spillguard . You can see one of the pieces I am bending and fitting to the underside . Tomorrow I should get this section done . I wanted to share this process to show their is more to building a dump box than just a floor and two sides.
JAN. THAW – It got up to 34 degrees yesterday and today , yippee !!
But both mornings after it was a icy mess on the roads.
TWENTY-NINE DAYS – Race day is 29 days away for me to enter my second ever 5K race. This time Deb will just take pictures and I will run with Bill and Nicole. My body is still quite large, but my legs are solid as a rock from four months of running almost everyday.
Hey Deb !, What’s for Supper ? We had fried rice and polish sausage and fresh rolls and cole slaw, yum !! and butterscotch cookies for dessert yum !
TERRIBLE SNOWPLOWING SEASON – Many people in Northern Michigan have depended on snowplowing to help pay bills . It has always been pretty normal to plow two times a week minimum and three to four times a week during Jan. This month I have only plowed one time so far. If it keeps this up, I may have to ask Deb to go back to watching pre-schoolers, ha,ha. Just kidding, she paid her dues (:<).
Great Lakes Shipping Season is over- With the last three frieghters going into winter layup this week it was a terrible season.
Hopefully come spring things will be better .
Waldon Loader- I’m sure glad we got a little snow so at least I got to enjoy the Waldon , ha,ha. Actually I have had more fun with that than with my snowmobile this winter. I have only rode the Ski-doo one day all winter. I still got plenty of time to enjoy it though.
Have a great Friday !!!!!!!!
