Todays picture shows me holding a 1/50th scale Cat Mining truck . It is a size smaller than the model 797 I am now building . Also you can see the difference in the size of the tires on the one I am holding and the size of the front tire on my model in the right side of this picture. COLD , COLD , COLD – It’s really cold here in Gaylord but Deb made a nice homeade batch of spicy chili to warm us up for lunch , yum !! And she is making pork chops for supper, yum, yum !!
Running – We both got our morning run on the treadmill done and we are on our way to staying healthy in 2010 . (:>).
We always crash and hit the wall in Jan. and Feb. and gain our weight back. But 4 weeks from now I will be getting close to racing my second 5K race so that has surely got to keep me motivated all of Jan. Nicole and Bill ran 4 miles today in the D.C. area . Nicole said it was cold but the roads were not slippery.
The first day we get that our roads are not icy, I will be out running in the cold outside. We did not like running around in circles very well at the sportsplex. We would rather run on the treadmill or out in the cold outside.
SNOWPLOWING – It has been a very slow snowplowing season this winter, we have plowed half as much as a normal winter by now.
SNOWMOBILING IN OTSEGO COUNTY- We have seen a lot of snowmobiles on the trails this past holiday week so that is great for the Gaylord businesses.
Have a great Sunday !!!!!!!!!!!!
