Cat 994F – Todays picture shows a cool view i took of the exhaust pipes on the Monster Cat 994F Loader on our last coal mine visit in Va.
While Leon and James checked out the cab area I had to get a picture from this angle.
Some of you know this is my next model project. The Letourneau L-2350 is the Big Dog in the world of mining loaders, but this 994F is pretty massive too and is a real work horse.
This loader will be another big project with all the different parts to be designed and built. I can’t possibly build this is 1/3rd scale , but I will scale it so the cab height will be five feet and that will still make it a really awesome sized model.
Cat D-11R – I got the front screening in the radiator housing and the inside screening for the radiator .
