Cat D-11R Blade Parts- Todays progress picture shows the individual blade cutting edge plates attached and the spill guard construction in progress. Now i am cutting out all the gussets that will be welded behind several of the vertical bars. After that i will start designing the parts for both side wear plates. Then i will move to the back side and start designing the final attachment brackets.
I still say it isn’t going to get the real loks until the blade is all attached .
I am still very excited about this model , it is still my all time favorite model !! I think it is AWESOME and it isn’t even finished yet.
