Cat D-11R Push Blade- Today I am welding the clevis’s on the back side of the blade that connect the four cylinders and the side blade beams to the blade. If all goes well the blade should be attached for the first time by suppertime.
Final Countdown – I am thinking by next weekend all the dozer parts could be built and all the parts ground , sanded and primed. Then the final week i will begin the painting process.
Can you see how much extra room I have in the workshop to get around the blade, ha,ha.
Our friends are still enjoying the boat trip on the Lee Tregurtha Great Lakes Frieghter . They should pass through the Soo Locks today around 2:00 this afternoon. Then they will head upbound to Marquette.
