Bodywork , bodyshops- I’m the first to admit I am no bodyman when it comes to painting . My body work is kinda bad but I never wanted to hire anyone else to paint my models or do the bodywork because I want to be the one who built the whole model from start to finish by myself. Even though the quality of the work is less I know it is my creation 100% from my hands . Todays picture shows the front blade bodywork completed and you can see the cab on the floor and many parts on the workbench as I start taking the model apart . I will start wet sanding the primed parts next and Monday I will start painting the first of the hundreds of parts to the dozer model. Also next week I will start the process of moving stuff in the front garage so I can start removing wall boards to get to the 2x4s to cut out the larger door opening . I would like it to be 8 feet wide and 6 feet tall , then i can drive my Waldon inside with front forks and lift the models if needed. That would be very handy.
