1/3rd scale dozer model- Todays picture shows me in the process of intalling the windows for the cab . Just sitting the cab on the frame made it look cool to me. I am even very excited to see the daily progress this week as the favorite model I have ever built finally gets closer to being completed.
Frost this morning – Deb and I walked this morning and it was 34 degrees with frost on the lawns and rooftops. Fall is in the air the last few mornings and Deb made some fresh carmel apples yesterday and they were delicious !!
Groin pain update- My groin strain problem finally cured itself with no drugs or doctor visits. This is the fourth time in my life this happened . I was a meatcutter for 20 years and i used to unload beef off semi trucks. We used to pick up hind quarters too and hang them on hooks from the ceiling. One day i missed the hook and I tried bringing the hind quarter back up to the hook and that was a mistake. I got my first hernia that day. From that time on I just let go and let the beef fall on the dirty floor. So about every 5 or 10 years i am reminded of that day, ha,ha. Deb thought i would reinjure it getting the dozer model on the wheels but I surprised her and didn’t, ha,ha.
I’ll post daily progress pictures this week as the dozer takes shape. I hope all of you that are building a 1/3rd scale dozer along with me are having as much fun as i am, ha,ha.
