D-11T or D-11R- Todays picture shows me standing next to a Cat D-11R tractor on a lowboy trailer in Va. This was the first Cat D-11R I ever saw in person. So I am totally excited to get started on the construction of a five foot model of one . Because I have more info on D-11R I decided to build the R . This week my daughter and I have been working on the scaled up design of it and will finish it soon. So when the big choo choo train toy gets completed I can get going on the biggest dozer toy I have ever built standing five feet tall. Many of you know I have talked for a few years about building larger working models and this project is one more step in that direction. I’m sure these models will never sell and probably stay in my yard as lawn ornaments , they will be well known around the world as I share the building of this mega D-11R Dozer model.
SIX inches of snow today – Although we only got 6 inches of snow and other area in Northern Michigan recieved over 12 inches I was more than happy to play in the six inches of freshly fallen snow.
Nicole – Thanks Nicole for all your help this week and with the design for the last several models and especially this next very large Dozer model .
One of these days we will be designing one for your new little boy Terak who should be arriving before Christmas morning. (:>).
