Cat D-11T- ? People are telling me I could very well letter this Dozer model as a Cat D-11T instead of a D-11R . But I know the difference and it is noticeable once you know. So I am going to letter it as a
D-11R . Todays picture shows the first 10 track pads cut, bent, drilled and the grousers welded on. I am very happy with the look and can’t wait to get farther along on them. There is a pile of them yet to make so this will be my project for all next week . Then the following week I will design the parts for the chain links. Noe that is going to be the biggest challange so far but I think I can come up with something that will look good. Last night I did a couple sketches of the links and the pin sizes.
First day of spring !! Sleet, cold rain and snow in the forecast for today , GRRRR , ha,ha. It’s all good knowing winter is almost over.
Now if we can make it through another war , a bankrupt government , the next great depression and a nuclear meltdown it should be a great summer (:>)
The best thing is that all the experts are saying it is ok to eat radioactive veggies and fruit and to drink contaminated milk . Also if your highly radioactive you just have to change your clothes and take a shower. That’s the worst part as I hate taking showers in the winter, GRRR. Deb forces me too , ha,ha.
Deb has always said I have a glow about me, wait til I get a good dose of radiation ? Seriously it is all very sad but a little humor may help get us through it. Humor is better than going on anti-depression pills, or becoming a drunk or turning to hard drugs. A little humor and a bucket of greasy KFC chicken is my answer (:>)
It’s all in God’s hands and I believe he will take care of us in this country the same way we have treated him the last 20 years. If that’s the case we better be very worried, ha,ha.
