Cat Wheeled Dozer- Todays picture is another one of my long list of favorite smaller sized models . I had built a couple loaders and in the Army I operated a Michigan Wheeled Dozer and I always wanted to build some kind of a wheeled dozer model. I hope to build a large scale rubber tired dozer model someday . It’s fun for me to repost pics of models from the past that are my favorites . I look at the fenders and the hood and the seat and the blad, etc. and remember hand bending the parts wondering if it would look anything like the real machine. I still am always unsure if the newest project will resemble the real machine or not. So far I been pretty lucky and they have turned out looking pretty realistic.
Great Lakes Ship Model – Tomorrow morning I will be back working on all the rear sets of stairs . If things go as planned this weekend the model could be all primed and ready for paint. But things don’t always go as planned, ha,ha.
MORNING 5K RUN – Sunday morning and Deb and I were up starting the day off right and feeling good. It is still hard to believe sometimes at my age I took up running and actually came in 2md and third place in my first two races and I actually beat over 300 younger runners besides in both races. It is still not easy, but it sure feels better than laying around on the couch and gaining more weight.
Weightwatchers- It’s been rough this last month counting points but weightwatchers was good giving us a lot of useful guidlines.
We are hovering at about the same weight now for a full month which is a good thing because we have both lost weight all summer.
