Cat Scraper – Todays picture is the first progress picture of the big Cat on my workbench . It really is going to be a beast of a scraper too. It will be close to 6 feet long when completed and that is going to be one awesome Scraper model. (:>)
You can see a lot of parts still have to be built in the hitch area and the cross tube but this gives a first glimpse of the beginning of the cool project.
Otsego County and Northern Michigan are ready for the last big weekend of the summer as the Tourists start arriving by the thousands today for their favorite camping spots and one last great weekend upnorth. The Gaylord Tourism Folks are all smiles because they know they have done their jobs and the Otsego lake State Park and the Otsego County Park will be full along with most of the Gaylord Motels. But the sad news is summer will be officially over after this weekend and school starts on Tues.
What a Great summer Deb and I had. As you know this was the first summer I spent with Deb and she wasn’t working in 25 years. Although we definately missed her income we know spending time together is more important . At our ages our days are numbered and we are smart enough to know it (:>) We have now used 8 years of our golden years and we also know when one of has health problems the golden years will be over . We will still always have great fun but now when we both are healthy is our best years and they really are golden.
