Big Boats – Todays picture shows me checking out this awesome set up !! Just amazing how some people play , ha,ha. Parked beside their boat and truck is their camper and it looks to ba about a 40 footer diesel with about a 30 foot matching toy hauler behind it. Looks like the toy hauler has two levels as their new Corvette and a tricked out atv Razor parked nearby . I’m sure once they get to their cottage conditions and the toys will be even better yet, LOL I’m thinking a private jet and a runway , ha,ha,ha. I was excited just standing beside it.
Actually it is called Thunder over Boyne and 30 to 40 big speed boats like this race for fun to several locations picking up tickets and at the end of three days compare times and just have fun. We were at Charlevoix when they were returning from Lake Michigan and just hearing those thousands of horsepower engines cruising in a long line was just very Cool !!
Baby Arrives TODAY – Deb and I are counting the minutes now until the arrival of our grandson Terak for the first time to Gaylord !! Nicole texted and said they should arrive before noon.
Very exciting to see all of them again after several weeks . (:>)
Alpenfest , Alpinefest , Alpenstress , whatever it’s called , ha,ha starts on Tues. and the weather forcast looks great ! Alpenfest 2011 will be the greatest.
National Cherry Festival – Deb and I took off for Traverse City too and checked out the 2011 National Cherry Festival this week. We ate some cherry pie, some fresh cherries and we dined at the outside foodcourt and had a fun time. 11 months of the year I work a lot of hours in my shop and i enjoy what i do. But the month of July is when Nicole comes home and we have our festivals and it really feels like full blown summer . I still work in the shop in July but July is for fun. I still have my groin pain and hopefully this break from so many hours in the shop will help heal it too.
