Completed Michigan 380 Dozer

Here is the first pcture of the completed Rubber Tired Dozer. As some of you know I operated one back in the early 70’s near Fitchburg, Mass. When I was getting out of the Army at Fort Devens in Mass. , 3 months before your last day , you could sign up for (Project Transition) , you would tell them what you wanted to do as a civilian and they would train you. I was a Journeyman meat-cutter , so I told them I wanted to operate heavy equipment. So I got to play in a gravel pit / dump for several weeks. I loved it!!. It was my best time in the Army. I think those few weeks in Mass . playing in the dirt stuck with me my whole life. To this day I love seeing heavy equipment at work , standing still, or even in the junkyards, Correction!, not junkyards, they are ( outdoor museums) (:>). The picture below shows another angle of the completed Dozer. LeTourneau L-1800 Loader- I have started the rear frame section .
