Remembering back to Dyersville and Field of Dreams- Todays picture shows our friend Debbie Behne and her daughter Amy, son Jeremy and grandson Alex standing outside Dyersville, Iowa at the Field of Dreams baseball field. We traveled to Dyersville the first time on our 25th Wedding Anniversay . Deb said she wanted to go West towards Hawaii and we only made it to Iowa ? to the National Farm Toy Show. I think Deb was glad we went there ?, she never really voiced her opinion , I just assume she was as excited as I was , ha,ha.
We had no toys to sell , but Debbie Behne came up to us and introduced herself and asked us if she could do a story about us for Toy Farmer Magazine. We said sure and that interview began a decade long friendship . Even today she E-mails my Deb about every week. Little did she know or did we know that would be the beginning of me being in Toy Farmer and Toy Trucker Magazines with my hand built toys in over 40 issues. That is still mind boggling to think about , and very cool !! These days with the internet and my own webpage with close to one and a half million visitors from 160 countries around the world it is rare I send anymore articles . But it sure was awesome !!
Also another thing we saw right away was that Debbie had a special bond with her family and that impressed us most of all !

TWELVE INCHES OF SNOW – I might finally be having the BIG ONE! Snow that is !, twelve inches of it is what the weatherman is saying starting tomorrow night . Oh Yea !!
TREADMILL RUNNING – Today we are getting a little more used to the treadmill as it is a lot different than running outside. It is so easy to quit and just sit and watch TV , but we are not going to do that.
Hey Deb !! What’s for Supper ? Chicken Wings and fries ! yum ! Baked in the oven and no breading to save calories but still yummy !
KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY- My mom had knee surgery today on our second knee . Everything went well !!
Hitachi EX-8000- Today I started cutting out the pieces and started bending the parts for the track frames and track pads.
America has changed so much over the last 30 years but to me
JESUS IS STILL THE REASON FOR THE SEASON !! (:>).
