2009 Highland Festival Queen and Debbie Campbell from Gaylord-
Deb and I enjoyed the three day Holiday weekend camping down on the farm at my folks near St.Louis , Michigan. We headed down to farm country to get some good old country fresh air. Little did we know several new dairy barns were built over the winter just three miles away . Now with a total of 8000 dairy cows within a three mile radius of my folks farm and the fresh smell of constant spreading of liquid manure in all the surrounding fields (:<) , we had a hard time sniffing any good clean country fresh air, LOL
But we still had fun and also enjoyed the Alma Highland Festival for the first time in many years. This picture I took of Deb next to the 2009 Queen Of Scots. as we walked into Pizza Sams in Alma Friday night. There was lots of Bagpipe music, lots of Scotish activities , lots of men in skirts, and a few carrying purses? as can be seen in the two photos below this one, ha,ha, .
We also got together with family and had talked about fun memories of many years ago and that was fun.
