Gaylord running 5K events Otsego County- 7 weeks ago Debbie Campbell had never ran before in her life. But after her daughter ran in her first 5K 8 weeks ago and asked her parents to consider running with her next year things were about to change.
. That was all it took to get them interested. The very next day Don and Debbie Campbell were out training for their first ever race. The first few weeks were slow with lots of short walks and short runs. Each week progressed more running and less walking. After six weeks Don began running 5K everyday and loves it. Today was very , very exciting as Debbie ran her first 5K of her life !! Did I mention Very EXCITING !!
The Campbell’s have never drank alcohol or smoked cigarettes or taken any kind of drugs. They have also walked an average of 35 miles a week for the last 20 years around Gaylord in Otsego County.
Next year they plan to run in the Alpenfest run for the first time.
They think people are too quick these days to use drugs for every little ache and pain.
Don and Debbie will be running their first official 5K race this fall in Washington D.C. with their daughter Nicole and her husband Bill.
California Pizza- Today Deb made a delicious California Pizza.
A homeade raised crust and coated with fresh tomatos, peppers, onions, mushrooms , olives, pimentos, and light on the cheese .YUMMY , just one piece though , portion control (:>). Then for dessert fresh peaches and milk, yum !
Liebherr – I got the windows in the cab and the front ladders mounted to the frame and it is looking great .
