Cool Gaylord Summer- So far it has been very cool in Gaylord but things are finally starting to grow. With two frosts again last week the annual flowers are not doing the best . It has been several years since we have planted any annuals. We used to plant over ten flats in our front yard but after two years of late freezes killing all the flowers we stopped doing that. Todays picture shows me cleaning some of the beds. The lawn is just starting to look half way decent.
We have been spending more time with my folks as my dad is not doing very well. We are helping my mom out as she has her hands full now. We have been working on several to -do lists she has and have over 40 things done now from trimming trees to weeding to changing mower blades, etc. The good thing is Deb and I are still having a lot of fun with them and still making some fun memories. He loves our weekly campfires in the evening.
John Deere 9630 Half Scale Tractor – Hopefully the weather will warm up above 70 this week and i am going to repaint the hood . It shines pretty good but not good enough . I will lightly sand the paint and then hit it with several more coats with the paint gun. It has been so cold the paint did not flow good as I like.
