Walking – Todays picture is Deb and I walking laps on the deck of the Paul R. Tregurtha in Lake Superior. It was cold and we had on winter coats. Everyday we would go walk about twenty laps in the morning and another 20 laps in the afternoon. Despite our efforts not to gain weight we still did, ha,ha. It’s still fun to post pictures from our frieghter trip from St.Clair Shores Power Plant to Duluth , Minn. and back. This trip is on our top ten most exciting things we did . Everyone we talk to at the locks say they always dreamed of cruising on a Great Lakes Frieghter. When we tell them we actually stayed on the whole fifth floor in the owners quarters they really want to go . Even if we never go again this was a trip we will always remember. We took over 1000 pictures altogether on that trip just in case it never happened again.
Cat 657E Scraper – I worked more on the scraper bowl side panels cutting out the openings for the tapers and building up the side walls.
Runners World – Today I ran a half a 5K and walked the rest of the way and then biked 6 miles on the trail so I was lazy today but it was very windy with 20 to 30 mph winds. Tomorrow I will try to kick it up a knotch.
Chili – This cool weather is great for a pot of spicy chili and Deb did just that and made a great tasting batch of Chili, yum !!
