Here is a picture of me holding a box of hand-made , extra thick cookies on a stick that Nicole made me . She said she wanted to do something special to say thanks for her new computer. She said it took her a couple tries to get the cookies over a inch thick and have them turn out perfect to put on sticks. The people at her work got to eat the ones that didn’t make it to the final cut, ha,ha.
Thanks again Nicole !!!, they taste GREAT !!
COLD SUNDAY MORNING – It was 12 degrees this morning , brrrr. KOMATSU PAINT – Deb and I picked up the Komatsu Paint and then stopped at the John Dealer and bought a quart of yellow paint for my tractor rims. The outside edge of the rims are getting a little rust on them . When the weather warms up , I will sand the outside edge and get the rims looking good again. I don’t like rust on anything. I even paint black paint under my truck every spring to keep the frame , fender wells, and axles looking good. I will also paint up the truck plow in the next couple weeks . ( 07 SHIPPING SEASON )- One week from today the Soo Locks open for the 07 shipping season. We may take a ride up to the Soo and watch the first parade of freighters make their way down river through the locks. The ice breakers are already busy breaking out the ice in DuLuth, Minn. I’m sure all the boat nerds are excited to see the first boats on the move. With spring break just around the corner, Nicole and Deb are getting excited knowing we will be heading to Wash. D.C. soon. We always have a great time with Nicole and Bill. GAS PRICES- Looks like gas prices will be close to peak for spring break travelers. HAVE A NICE SUNDAY WITH THE ONES YOU LOVE.
