DON CAMPBELL’S 1/12TH SCALE KOMATSU 575A SUPERDOZER MODEL WEIGHING OVER 60 LBS.

ROUGHED IN SUPERDOZER- Here is the next progress picture showing the big dozer model on my workbench. 99% of the shape is now roughed in and you can see the overall look of the model. I am very pleased with the shape of the model compared to the shape of the real machine. I think I was able to capture the overall look .
I am now working on the rear drive sprocket wheels , I just got the rear left one done you can see in the lower right of this picture. The one on the other side is not done yet or the front ones are not done yet, but I am happy with how the first one turned out . That was a lot of holes to drill , but it looks realistic .
VIDEO OF THIS DOZER BEING ASSEMBLED- I also took a video this morning of me in the workshop taking off the ROPS, the hood, the cab, the floor, and the left and right fenders. So you can see how some of the parts have to come apart for painting . I will take it completely apart once I get ready to do the body work . The video gives a better idea of the size of the dozer as I remove the parts.
Sorry about the shaky movie as I was holding the camera with one hand as I took off the parts and put them back on, ha,ha.
Have a nice Friday
