It’s been quite a while since Deb took this picture of Tom and I climbing around the Komatsu D-575A SuperDozer. But I remember very well as I stood up on it and checked it out, the day would come that i would build a awesome one of a kind model of it. Mon. I will post the finished pics of the very cool model !! I am very pleased how it is looking. Feels like about 60 lbs. of steel in this model. I think I was able to capture the overall look of this cool monster dozer. The blade is very rugged looking with all the extra bracing and gussets and the large side wings. Hope you all like it.
Thanks again Larry for all the pics you sent me of it, that really helped me better understand how it was put together. And thanks again James for your help on the project too.
The sun is shining and Deb and I are off for our hour walk outside. We walked a hour outside last night too. We still have a lot of snow but the sidestreets are dry for walking and some of the sidewalks are melting too. Most of all I want to give another thank you to John for spending a whole afternoon with us letting us climb all over these awesome machines.
Have a nice Sunday with the ones you love.
