This picture shows the next model I will be building after the Komatsu SuperDozer. This is the truck model I was saying will use 10 of the 12 offroad tires I have left. This truck model will be 33″ long . That is what scale it will come out to when scaled up to the correct dia. of the tires. It is a pretty cool looking monster truck. It held the record for the worlds largest Haul truck for over 25 years.
I got a E-mail from the guy yesterday saying he thinks now he can order from Tamiya, but he needs a minimum order of $1,000.00 . He said he is going to a show this weekend and could get other orders for things. So with the 36 tires I want to order from him , hopefully he will have enough of an order to order my offroad tires. We have been trying to get them since last Aug. I did get 12 of them around Christmas time.
KOMATSU PROGRESS- I got the side frames cut out, drilled, pinned and the front crosstube made and all of it is now mounted to the superdozer frame. Today we will go to get the paint for it.
