Don checks out two of the Cat 60’s

Here is a picture of one of the five Cat 60’s Glen had at his outdoor Antique Heavy Equipment Museum, ha,ha.
The picture below this one shows A Cat 60 with a sideboom , very cool.
TWENTY-NINE DEGREES OVERNIGHT- We got a frost last night when the temps hit 29 degrees.
Cat No. 16 Grader- I got the radiator roughed in and welded to the frame and the rear bumper built and welded on . Next I will begin the engine construction.
LETOURNEAU L-2350 MONSTER LOADER UPDATE- I got a E-mail from Butch and he said he is now getting seat time on the newest L-2350 loader in the world. There are only three of them in the world. It has a optional coal bucket that holds 80 yards.
He said he has operated the L-1800, 1850’s for many years and this one seems like a monster compared to them. He said he can load the biggest trucks in the world with ease with the long reach loader arms.
CAR CRASHES INTO PAINT STRIPING TRUCK- It’s hard to believe , but a area road painting crew had a surprise yesterday when a lady crashed into the back of them and wedged her vehicle under it. I always thought all the flashing lights on those trucks and all the bright colors on the back of those machines were very noticeable.
Komatsu Excavator in our front yard update- The Excavator is now digging across the road from us and he has his eye on my perfectly manicured lawn , ha,ha. Today could be the day they start wrecking my lawn , but who cares, it’s only grass. boo, hoo
