Cat Scraper

Cat Scrapers- All my life I have loved big scrapers. I remember as a little boy by Mt. Pleasant they were putting in the new expressway and I remember having to wait for the big scrapers to go by and I still remember in amazement the size of them . Never knowing the day would come that I would get to actually play on one of the twin engined monsters. I’ve been told it’s a rough riding machine sitting on them 8 or 10 hours a day 6 days a week. But the 15 or twenty minutes of seat time felt Great, ha,ha.
Can’t wait to start building the largest scale Scraper in a 657 coal hauler version in two weeks.
45 MILE BIKE RIDE TODAY – I took off on my mountain bike knowing I had to ride 26 miles today to total 100 miles for the week. I got to the 13 mile point that I planned to turn around and decided to keep heading north towards the Mackinaw Bridge. At the 20 and 30 mile markers I still felt great and called Deb to head north to pick me up. Even when she intercepted me at the south end of Cheboygan at the 45 mile point I still felt good. No leg cramps . I was 20 miles short of the Mackinaw Bridge . I figure that was a good ride for today but in a week or two I will plan on leaving early in the morning and do the whole 65 mile mountain bike ride all the way to the Mackinaw Bridge on the old railroad trail.
Day two of thinking Nicole and Bill are having a little boy . Nicole picked out the name Terak . Very unique name and Deb thought it was a piece of heavy equipment , ha,ha. I corrected her and told her she was close but it’s Terex that builds large equipment, ha,ha.
Have a great Sat.
