Truck Models – It’s hard to believe all the hours involved to sit down and design and cut out the hundreds and hundreds of parts out of steel that is involved in making just these few models behind me.
But it is very rewarding seeing the big smiles on everyones faces as they look at them knowing they are one of a kind , hand built models built by me. I still say it is a labor of love or I could not work 7 days a week , 10 hours a day much of the winter doing this.
Now after 13 years, I think it is great that I still get excited each time I finish a model and each time I head to the shop to begin the next one.
Liebherr Mining Truck – I am working on the cab and will get the windows all cut out and the walls welded together today. Then the electrical boxes on the top deck are next to be built.
Sore Legs and knees today – I might have run a little too far yesterday morning because this morning my legs are very sore. So I cooled it down a little this morning and walked more than I ran to give them a rest. But in just two and a half weeks, Deb and I are really doing great working to our goal in D.C. this fall.
Have a great Wed.
