Mackinaw Island Biking – We had another fun day taking the boat over to Mackinaw Island and renting bikes and riding around the Island. It was another beautiful summer day in Northern Michigan.
We ate at the Pink Pony Resturaunt and we all competed and had a rock skipping contest with my Nephew Bill from Rochester , Minn. winning with a whopping 20 skips across the surface of the water.
Just another fun little memory from the days events. We all made a stop and watched fresh fudge being made and we all bought a slab to bring home. A few Mackinaw Sovineirs and we hopped on the boat for the mainland. Bill and his family headed towards Wisconsin and we headed back to Gaylord talking about all the fun we had.
Now we will rest up for another busy day tomorrow in Traverse City.
I know I should get back to the workshop , but I couldn’t focus on making toys with Nicole and Bill home for just a few more days.
I want Nicole to always remember me as a nice dad who always set aside time for her to do fun things when she came to visit.
Todays picture shows all of us returning from the 8 mile bike ride around the Island.
