This picture shows the rear section of the worlds biggest grader model. I had no measurements and only a few pics to work with . You can see I did manage to get the overall shape of the rear section to look a little similar to the real Acco monster grader. You can also see the cab mounted , the duel wheels , the railings, the exhaust stack, the fenders, rear ladders and rear bumper. It doesn’t look like much work, but this was quite a project itself. The pivot brackets and the steering cylinders are on the front of this section.
VIDEO CLIP NO. 46- We just added the next new video clip on the video section. This one shows the Cat 5230 Shovel , the Cat 24H Grader and the Cat D-2 Dozer with the rear mounted fuel tank.
Sunny today and another possible record to be broken , but we are looking at it positive and enjoying it very much.
Acco Grader Progress- I am busy working on the blade parts and putting the last detail parts on the front of the frame section. There are quite a few parts to make on the blade assembly. I will post the next pic as I get the blade assembly completed.
Dogsled races update- The U.S. dogsled races scheduled for this weekend in our area have been cancelled. They rescheduled them for Feb.
