FIRST DAY OF SPRING !! YIPPEE !!
Deb saw a Robin yesterday between to large snowbanks so we know spring is close now. And we have a bench in our backyard that we can see some grass , Oh Yea !! And the hill in the front yard is just five feet tall now and 35 feet long , and the 101 year old has been puffing away with the big garage door open the last few days !
But a Sure Sign of Spring in Northern Michigan is whe the snowmobilers and ice fisherman are told the shipping season has begun and for them to ( GET OFF THE SHIPPING LANES ) . Can you imagine how dangerous it must me in this shanty after this ice has been cracked in every direction for hundreds of feet. When I hear about the ice fisherman that drowned every spring, This is what I think of , ?? We have already had one drown this week. Very Sad.
8 DEGREES IN GAYLORD ON THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING – Even though it is very cold today on the first day of spring in Gaylord, the sun is shining and we are grateful to God for one more day together. I always hoped to live to 50 years old. I never planned to live to 70 , possibly 60. So I really do try to see the positive in each day and enjoy it very much . Each week I see in the local paper and on TV people who passed away much younger and healthier than me and all I can figure is God still has more plans for me. (:>).
SANDING TRUCK MODEL – Today I am doing the final bodywork and doing all the sanding on all the parts . By tonight all the parts should be primed.
