Now that Deb and I are considered elderly I guess we better just accept it. If you do the math and my generation is supposed to live to 70 years old then 35 years old is half way in your life.
At 50 years old you better start facing the fact you are well past half way of your life.
Surely when you hit 60 as far as I am concerned I am elderly with just 10 years left.
Golden Years- None of our friends are debt free or have 2 million dollars in the savings at 60 . In fact the average 60 year old now is very much in debt and over a million of them have lost their homes in the last three years.
So when is this wonderful thing we heard our whole lives about our golden years going to happen? We never drank , we never smoked and still don’t take prescription drugs. We have worked hard and never paid anything late or never got any credit card debt. The news said the other day the American Dream is no longer possible for 90% of Americans. That is very sad.
Our plan has always been to enjoy our golden years starting at 50 years old til 65 years old while we still feel great.
Then go back to work at 66 until we croak at work as a Walmart Greeters, lol
Florida – Todays photo shows me picking oranges in Florida . We did not like Florida but after 100 inches of snow and three weeks without sunshine and sub zero temps Florida is looking real good after all .
We are making plans for the future for us to start going to Florida
Growing old – I never got old before so I’m not sure from day to day what I will say on my blog. So just accept I a goofy old man losing his mind , ha,ha.
