Debbie Campbell’s Daycare in Gaylord – Some of you have asked what Deb does while I am working in the workshop so many hours every week all winter. Deb has operated a small daycare in Gaylord now for over 20 years. When Nicole was born Deb did not want to go back to work , she wanted to spend the first five years with Nicole . But when Nicole was 4 years old , Deb knew it would be hard to see Nicole go to school so she decided to start watching kids in our home. This way every night Deb was home when Nicole got home from school and better yet, Nicole got to have a few little kids to play with too . Over the years a few of these daycare kids became like little sisters to Nicole. Now they have all grown up but we still keep in contact with them . Last count, Deb said she has watched over 120 different preschoolers. Many of them came to Deb’s daycare over 3 years until they began school. At one time many years ago Deb had a couple helpers and she had 17 kids enrolled at her daycare. These days she has downsized quite a bit as you can see in todays picture that she took of me this morning . She has four little boys and says that is a nice little group . You can see me holding Ryan , the newest Daycare baby (:>). He has adapted well and he is a nice little smiley baby. You can see we have three tractors out back too for the boys and trailers for them and a couple other riding toys. Noah is on the left and he is a Red Wings Hockey Nut and brings his hockey stick everyday , ha,ha. In the middle is Riley and he loves power rangers and brings his action figures everyday and on the right is CJ and he loves Monster Trucks as we have 20 toy monster trucks he loves to play with everyday and he loves watching monster Jam on TV ! They are nice little boys.
MUSHROOMS – This is our second really nice day and more snow is melting , and working in the yard I can’t help but start to think about going and getting the first couple quarts of dark Moral mushrooms. UMM ! That is only one of two times a year we fire up the deep fryer to fry fresh breaded Moral Mushrooms, UMM !! LOTS of Calories TOO , ha,ha.
But it is still freezing every night so the ground is too cold yet. But the first Moral was found two weeks ago by Boyne Mountain , but it was very small .
Liebherr Tracks- This afternoon I will get going on the first track frame parts. The tracks and track frames are very time consuming but next week I will get them completed.
Have a Great FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!
