HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY !!!
I posted this picture to let everyone know we posted a 1/2 scale Peterbuilt video clip on the video section of my webpage. The clip shows Fred and I talking about this awesome truck, lowboy and Dozer he built. Even after seeing it and being around it several times, I could not get over how amazing it was. Maybe because my dream is to build a couple have scale working machines and to see someone actually do it just blew my mind. It sure made my Cat 5230 shovel look small .
Nicole and Bill are on their way back to D.C. We had another great vacation with them. When kids leave home and work hard and pay their bills on time, they should no longer be treated as our kids. To Deb and I they are now equals to us. We see how Nicole enjoys being an adult and she has earned it by being out in the daily grind and doing fine. So many parents today control their kids at 30 , 40, 50 years old. We are glad we have the common sense to let Nicole have a life without us making her decisions or trying too. Thanks again Nicole and Bill for a fun Christmas Vacation with us.
Terex RH-200 Video Clips- I posted several mining shovel video clips on my webpage last week. Now we see we can improve them , so this week we will delete some of them and redo them so they are much more clearer to watch.
I have another one of the Cat 793C Haul trucks getting loaded and driving by us in James Truck. It’s very cool too. Thanks again for the E-mails saying you really like the new video clips. We got several more interesting ones to add in the future. We are working on adding another new one this morning.
Acco Grader- Tomorrow I will get back on track in my workshop. By the end of this week I should have the blade circle assembly and the blade done. Once it is close to being roughed in , I will post the first pics of it, and possibly a video clip of it on my workbench.
Pouring rain all night and much of the holiday week with above freezing temps was a disaster to the Northern Michigan Economy. But the positive side is we are saving a lot of money on heating bills, and snowplowing costs and salt on the roads at the city and county road commisions. It will be remarkable if we get no more snow to ride the snowmobile this winter.
Global warming is making more and more sense with so many 100 year records being broken all over the world.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE,
Don and Debbie
