Loader front forks- A couple days ago I built some brackets to mount these front forks. They did not work right so today I built new brackets and moved the forks out to the front edge of the bucket and now they were great !!!
Gaylord downtown businesses close- Today we saw our old Ben Franklin Store in Gaylord is closing. It has been a dimestore for over 40 years and now it will be closed. 40 years ago Deb and I eloped and drove to Gaylord to get married at a church . The preacher would not marry us so we went to the city hall . He said we needed a ring and we went over to the dime store and I told Deb to pick out the biggest ring in the counter . She did and we headed back and you should have seen the look on the city workers faces. After we were married Deb got to eat the gum on the ring , ha,ha,ha. just kidding .
But we do have a lot of fun memories going to the little dibbles dime store all those years ago. Also that is where our daughter first worked when she was fifteen years old.
I’m not one to go around spreading rumors but I also heard today another business is closing on mainstreet this fall. Sounds like because of a failed marriage , but you didn’t hear this from me (:>)
