Custom Garden Tractors- Todays progress picture shows the new custom exhaust stack I made for my latest tractor project. I cut the stock elbows and straight tubing off the original muffler and rewelded everything to come out looking like this. I even put a rain flapper on top as i think they are kinda cool.
I also got the hood and side covers painted and installed. Got a yellow seat on it now and I really like this little $100.00 tractor now. It runs excellent and I especially like it because it has foot control hydrostatic drive.
Half Scale 4×4 articulating tractor project- About three more days I will pull out the new tractor and the mini jd 4020 and pull in the new 4×4 mini tractor project . The very first thing I will have to do on that is remove one wheel and get measurements for the wheel adaptors. I have made several sets of them now .
Where is spring ? The last 5 days it has snowed a inch or two just enough to make the roads a salty sloppy slippery mess until mid afternoon. Sounds like several inches more on it’s way tomorrow night . Were now at 122 inches for the winter. My huge snowhills in the back yard have gone down about 12 inches but they are still 12 feet tall.
