Garden Tractor with Tracks
Today’s picture of a tractor with tracks is something I would like to make this year. I have always loved mini dozers but they are too heavy. So I would like to take the old Wheel Horse tractor I have and design and build some tracks for it. Then mount a snowblower on the front of it for winter use.
Any week now the temps should warm up to 32 degrees again and I will get back to working in the workshop again. I am ready now but 19 below zero this morning and a high temp today of 10 degrees is too cold for this old man. And I am too cheap to buy expensive kerosene to heat the shop.
Upcoming Projects
I have several projects I am ready to start on. The very first thing I need to do if it hits 32 this week is dig out the snowblower outback from under the snow hill. Second thing is to move some little tractors out in the back shed, pull the Wheelhorse tractor in the workshop, and pull the 4×4 articulating tractor out.
Traverse City Today for Lunch
Even though it was bitter cold this morning it was so nice to see the sun shining. Deb and I hopped in the car and headed to Traverse City for lunch. The main roads were dry but every side road was a glare of ice. Traverse City had a lot of snow, probably the most snow we ever saw over there.
