I opened the garage door this morning to see a 24 inch snowdrift packed against it. I was hoping for a 48 foot drift but no such luck. Todays picture shows my first choices of defense, ha,ha. My plow truck hasn’t been used to plow snow for more than 30 minutes the whole winter. I usually just use the walk behind blade to make windrows on each side of the driveway and then use the little JD 455 with the 2 stage snow blower to blow it on the piles. Then I use the mini loader to play in the backyard and move a little snow in a couple of the neighbor’s yards.
200 inches of snow this winter is in reach. No sign of any days soon even getting close to 32 degrees to melt any of our snow.
Feb. we usually average over 50 inches and March we average over 30 inches and April we average 10 inches. We could hit 220 inches this winter no problem. Just a good old fashioned up north winter.
It is pretty cute how the Weather Channel people stand on a street corner with 3 or 4 inches of snow on the ground and act as they can hardly stand up and complaining about snowflakes going right in their mouth. A bunch of drama queens, give me a break people.
Have a great Sat.
