Gaylord Herald Times – Now the people from the Gaylord Herald Times would enjoy seeing this Chessie Train model . When they saw it with primer on it , the look was very different . Todays picture shows the 1/4 scale train sitting on the tracks for the very first time and the wheels attached to the train for the final time. You can also see the one of a kind static model mounted on 6 rubber wheels for easy moving . The next step is to build four brackets and drill holes to mount them to the track and to frame of the train to keep the brand new Diesel Locomotive from derailing on it’s trip to Cleveland this summer in July to be displayed at the DHS Diecast Open House and Toy Show that Chuck Sword Puts on . It will be fun sharing the engine with everyone .
1/3rd Scale Cat D-11R Dozer – Thurs. or Friday I will cut out the first parts for the 5 foot tall Cat Dozer Model.
The P&H 5700 shovel is probably my favorite along with the other big shovels I have built so far. This Chessie Engine is also one of my favorites . But I got a feeling that the Cat D-11R will be my all time favorite along with the Monster Cat 994F Loader model I plan to build.
I will post more pics of the finished Chessie GP-40 tomorrow along with a video .
