32 degrees this morning and a freeze coming tonight and tomorrow night . Deb and I returned last night from a wonderful 17 day vacation as many of you know. As we traveled north from the Ohio Turnpike we watched the temperature drop from 65 degrees to 40 degrees with a windchill near 32 degrees.
Hoping to get more Morel Mushrooms this weekend it is now doubtful if the ground froze solid overnight. Todays picture is one Deb took across the street from our house in the parking lot . But the good news is my backyard snowhills are completely melted. Any light snow we get tonight and tomorrow night will melt quickly.
17 days of mail , bills , bills , bills , ha,ha
Live like you were dying is what Deb and i did on our vacation. Of course that is not the case but it sure made the vacation the best vacation we could have in our old age, ha,ha. But we are smart enough to know that that we are old and we are slowing down and God might call one of us one of these days to go to Heaven .
So we can’t waste a single day , we just opened the door on the coal furnace and heaved the bills inside and roasted marshmallows and making smores, lol
Well not quite, ha,ha.
It’s going to take a few days to get back to the workshop as i want to get some spring yard work done .
There is no greater feeling after spending such a great vacation with our daughter Nicole , our great son-in-law Bill and our busy little 2 year old grandson.
They are a lot of fun to be with and we made so many great new memories.
Have a great Sat.
