Time passes but memories remain – Todays picture shows after a day and a half of Deb and I working in the back yard how we quickly we erased 25 years of memories . The path is gone, the island of shrubs is gone and deck is gone and close to 100 shrubs are now gone . You can see some of them loaded in the background on my trailer . As I sit here on this sunny Easter Sunday morning I am looking at a picture on my desk of the day I was building the deck and the early beginnings of all the landscaping we did 23 years ago.
It’s hard to believe 23 years have passed by . Just a good reminder how fast life goes by and how we really need to get serious about planning our future in Heaven.
Here is a perfect little story for this perfect Easter Sunday .
A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl. She wanted to know what the United States looked like .
The father saw a map of the U.S. in his magazine and ripped it out and tore it in several small pieces. The daughter left the room to go work on the puzzle . But it wasn’t long and she was back , looking very surprised the father asked how did you manage to reassemble all those pieces and tape them together so fast?
She smiled and said because the other side of the picture was a full sized picture of Jesus ! (:>).
She also said when she got all of Jesus back where he belonged , our country came back together again (:>).
