Steiner 430 max – About 40 years ago I saw a add for a little compact 4×4 articulating lawn tractor with front mounted attachments . The brand was Steiner . Even way back then i was facinated with articulating machines.
We located a Steiner Dealer near St. Johns , Michigan and we drove down to look at them.
I remember them being very expensive and very unique. We drove off and I thought about them over the years to buy a old one to use to make a half scale four wheel drive articulating tractor. Even used they were very expensive.
Well it must have been meant to be because today i am the owner of a 25 hp 4×4 articulating Steiner. It came with a 60 inch front mower deck , and a front hydraulic lift anf hydraulic angle dozer blade and a hydraulic lift and hydraulic dump front bucket system. It is a 2002 model and it doesn’t have any rust on it , not even on the rims. The most exciting thing about the whole day was the very low price I paid for it. I will make a nice little profit some day when i sell it.

I did have to give over my usual $100.00 for it , grrrrrrrr, ha,ha,ha.
But the price was negotiable and the price did go down . This is one unit I would have gladly given the original asking price. tee, hee
